We went to Gardner Canyon this weekend. It was such a nice gettaway. We thought it might be colder, but it was actually really nice. Darren made a really good fire...

And then we made a really nice hike on Saturday morning. We made it to the top of that mountain even though you can't really tell how how high up we are in that pic. My right calf was a little sore, but we made it without injuries! Despite how my hair makes it look, it wasn't actually windy up there.

ReplyDeletei went to the Grand Canyon last year with my parents and it was unreal! and yes, i agree, when you wake up it is FREEEEEZING!
It looks like you had a very relaxing weekend in the mountains! I have yet to go camping, it is on my list of things to do! That butterfly is beautiful and Darren must be very talented in making such a great fire!
